Breast Procedure List

We offer a wide variety of breast procedures

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is a procedure that adds volume to the patient’s breasts to make them larger. This involves the use of breast implants, which are inserted into the breasts through small incisions. Patients can choose between saline and silicone breast implants for this augmentation procedure.

Breast Augmentation with Lift

This is a combination breast procedure that involves placement of breast implants, tightening of the skin of the breasts, and resizing/repositioning of the nipples and areolae. This is a good option for patients who want to reduce sagging while enhancing breast size and perkiness.

Breast Lift / Mastopexy

Sagging breasts can be lifted with the help of a breast lift, also known as mastopexy surgery. This procedure involves the removal of excess skin, tightening of the remaining skin, repositioning of the areolae and nipples, and any required symmetry corrections.

Breast Reduction

Some patients have breasts that have become too large for comfort. A breast reduction can make their chest size more manageable, reducing chronic pain, rashes beneath the breasts, and posture issues. This is done by removing fat, glandular breast tissue, and excess skin.

Breast Implant Removal

Patients may come to a point where they want to have their breast implants removed. This could be due to a change in their bodies, the age of the implants, or simply a need to have them taken out. In any case, breast implant removal involves taking out the implants safely. Typically, the original breast augmentation incisions are used for this procedure.

Complex Breast Augmentation for Asymmetry

Up to 80% of women have some degree of breast asymmetry, with a smaller number being what is considered lopsided. Through a more complex approach to breast augmentation, this can be resolved so that the breasts, including the areolae and nipples, will be even.

Revision or Corrective Secondary Breast Augmentation

Sometimes, breast procedures don’t turn out the way that patients want. They may even result in inconvenience, discomfort, and pain. As such, corrective measures need to be taken. This can include removing the old breast implants and replacing them with new ones, addressing thickened scar tissue, and correcting implant malposition.

Breast Surgery Before and After Care

If you are 35 or older, Dr. Pautler will send you for a mammogram. A mammogram is a special way to take a digital image of your breasts. Having a mammogram is purely a precaution to make sure that there are no suspicious areas in your breast. If there is a positive finding on the mammogram, Dr. Pautler will consult with you and refer you to a general surgeon before proceeding with breast surgery. If you have a very strong family history of breast cancer, Dr. Pautler may send you for a mammogram even if you are younger than 30.

Breast Augmentation With Fat Transfer

Breast augmentation with fat transfer can enhance the size and fullness of the breasts using your own fat. During a fat transfer breast augmentation fat is removed from another part of your body and is processed and injected into the breasts for a natural appearance without silicone implants.
