This breast lift patient is 40-years-old, 5′, 100 lbs. She wanted a slightly smaller breast, more firm and youthful in shape. During surgery, her breasts were reduced by only 50g per side, and given a breast lift or “mastopexy.” The after picture shows a more rounded shape to her breasts and ayounger look. This breast lift procedure is called a “vertical mastopexy.” The scar is limited to the areola and then a small “dart” that goes from the areola down to the crease underneath the breast, known as the “inframammary fold.” Her breast size is now a youthful-looking C-cup.
