Does Botox have any side effects?

Yes. Botox can result in injection site reactions such as redness, swelling, and bruising. Infections can occur and inadvertent muscle paralysis such as a drooping eyelid or abnormal smile can occur.

How long does it take to get Botox?

The Botox procedure is a simple, efficient procedure that can be performed during a 30-minute appointment allowing you to get back to your life as soon as possible.

Is there any downtime after getting Botox?

There is minimal downtime associated with Botox injections. You may return to daily activities immediately following the procedure, but it is advised you avoid strenuous activities and apply makeup to the treated area for 24 hours. Avoiding pressure and massages to the injected area is also recommended during the first 24 hours.

When will I see the results?

Individual results will vary but the full effect of the injections will typically be experienced within 10 days of the procedure. These results will typically last for three to four months.
