Education and Memberships
After graduating magna cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Dr. Simona V. Pautler received her medical degree from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. She then trained in general surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. She also completed a fellowship in plastic surgery at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Raised in Upper St. Clair, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Dr. Pautler was valedictorian of her high school class and is in the Upper St. Clair High School Hall of Fame for academic excellence. Her husband, John Gibbons, is an orthopedic surgeon. They have four children: Liam, Veronica, Daniela, and Ronan.
